HANDMADE OOAK DRESS FOR 17-18" SWEET SUE, MISS REVLON OR OTHER FASHION DOLL THIS HEIGHT CREATED FROM A GREAT 50's DROPPED WAIST PATTERN (AUCTION IS FOR DRESS ONLY) This sweet dress was created from a piece of cotton fabric that has tiny pink rosebuds on a cream background stripe alternating with a soft grey, creating this wonderful wallpaper print... This pattern is my all time favorite as it shows all the features we loved in a dress back when I was in Jr. High... The bodice has 6 darts creating the form fitting fashion of the day... The dropped waist accents the tiny waistlines we all loved to show off... The VERY full skirt accents the small waist even more... AWWWW those were the days... Your Sweet Sue will LOVE the tiny bows added to the lined bodice and the VINTAGE lace decorating those big puffed sleeves... I added a bright pink trim around the skirt, which has a nice deep hem... This wonderful dress closes with 3 snaps... Your girl will be pretty as a picture in this lovely dress...!!! It has been a while since I have made a dress for the 17-18" girls, so you may or may not have seen my work...
