52100 Ball Bearing Steel 3/32 thick. The blade is 4 inches long and the knife is 8 inches overall. I left the forge maks in for added appeal. The handle is Mesquite wood and is pinned with (4) 1/8th brass pins and one 1/4 in Mosica pin. It is finised with tung oil and has been buffed to simi gloss finish. This knife fits in your hand perfectly. Handmade by Janks Custom Knives in TexasComes with it's custom handmade leather sheath as seen in the picture. I do from time to time sell knives on Ebay to get my name out and to sell knives that I've had for a while. I am a knife maker; no one works on my knives; or does my heat treating or grinding, and I put all my knives in some strict test to insure you are getting a quality blade before I put the handle on. I do everything by hand; I don't use a CNC machine, or water jet, each knife is made from start to finish by me. Most of my knives are stock removal from cold rolled steel; however from time to time I will forge some knives when time allows. I make all my one of a kind leather sheaths. They are made out of veg tanned leather and personally carved by me, all my knives come with a leather sheath made just for that knife. I make my own Micarta for handles, and my own Mosica Pins, and most of the wood I use I personally cut down.
