'55 BF GOODRICH SCHWINN 26" BICYCLE FEATHER CHAIN GUARD At auction this week is a Schwinn feather chain guard from a 1955 BF Goodrich Schwinn built bicycle. This chain guard came from a balloon tire 26" Schwinn bicycle and has the Spitfire logo on the guard. I have been helping to liquidate an old garage bike shop for an elderly friend and he has numberous frames and bikes that have been used for parts over the years. We will continue to offer parts off these bikes in the future.. This particular guard is in pretty good condition as you can see from the photos. All the mounting brackets are complete and in good shape structurally for its age. This little honey measures about 22 1/2 inches long. It measures just short of 18 inches from center of mounting hole in the rear to center of mounting hole in the front. It has a BF Goodrich logo over the Schwnn logo in the circle which I haven't seen before. Please check my feedback and . Thanks for looking and good luck.
