Close ups are shown below PLEASE READ Due to the size of the painting it is being sold as "un-stretched" and will not be on stretcher bars. What does un-stretched canvas mean? An un-stretched canvas means that the painting is not attached to a wooden frame, also known as stretcher bars. The canvas should be stretched and secured to a wooden frame / stretcher bars. These stretcher bars come in all different sizes and thickness. The most common thickness for stretcher bars is three forths (3/4) of an inch and this thickness is ideal for having mounted in to a frame. However if you do not wish to have the painting framed then having the painting stretched on 1.5 inch stretcher bars is your best option. This is often referred to as gallery wrapped which means the face of the painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher bars. The sides can be left as is, painted black, or painted a custom color to match a color used within the painting.
