Here is a great old Gibson arch top hollow body project that I just ran out of cash and time to complete. 5 DAY AUCTION WITH NO RESERVE... The neck is a new Gibson factory 2nd that was never completed because of cosmetic imperfections and a small amount of glue on the fretboard and it is hard to notice. I exclusively used Gibson fretboard conditioner on it and the glue all about disappeared. A light steel wool in areas would make it even better if you like. The neck is fretted and has double diamond inlays, binding and the truss rod installed. There is a small dent near the heel that can be filled easily. It is shown in the picture with the rosewood bridge that I added to the photos. It will not show once the finish goes on over the real Gibson pearl logo plaque on the head stock. I also include the Gibson factory pearl and black logo overlay piece for this. This neck will look and play as a new Gibson guitar would on a 1956 sweet old body. It took a long time to find this real neck and it was expensive and had many bids on it. I took a night off of work just to get it and paid about a weeks pay too. I was very excited to finally get something worthy of the body. Then I got the head stock overlay piece to make it even closer to what I wanted. All the other parts are aftermarket or imported but this project has lots of potential
