*********************************** Up for auction is this Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Helmet my boyfriends uncle Teddy gave it to him when he was a boy. He had pulled off of his Co-Pilots head after they were shot down in Saigon. His Co-Pilot "Fast Eddy" died from that crash, but Uncle Teddy survived with some serious cuts and 3 broken ribs. Teddy grabbed Eddie's dog tags and helmet, and disappeared in to the jungle's of Vietnam before the enemy showed up. Eddy's Dog tags went to his family, and his helmet ended up in our hands. T is a picture painted of the Roadrunner and the words"Fast Eddy" barely visible on the back. This helmet was manufactured in June of 1966 and the tag says 6/66 (?scary?) on it in the inside, which you can see in the pictures. We don't really want it, so we are selling it, and it could be yours. Good Luck!!
