This is a gorgeous set of (6) Venetian Brandy Snifters. T is heavy gold gilt and the glass is a smoke color and chimes when you tap it with your finger. A Captain on a U.S.S. Medical ship traveled the world and purchased numerous pieces of beautiful Venetian glass and had them shipped home. A copy of the original invoice will be included in the package. All of the glass which you will see this coming week in my auctions were purchased at FERRO & LAZZARINI...Murano - Venezia on November 4th 1960. They are 4 1/4" high and have applied flowers on one side and great gold decoration on the reverse. T are no chips or cracks with very minimal gold loss.
