Welcome to my semi-annual Limoges Porcelain Auctions. I will be listing over 100 items throughout the month, so please check back weekly. Several pieces from my private collection, as well as many estate finds, will be auctioned directly or sold at " buy it now" prices in my Ebay store. Hand-painted and elaborately decorated Limoges art objects, decorative accessories, and table china with varying subject matter will be showcased (i.e. scenic & figural decor, floral and fruits themes, fish and game designs, etc). You are bidding on a handpainted set of haviland plates painted by the artist MFH and signed 1907. These plates are painted on a classic Haviland scalloped blank trimmed in gold. Each plate features either of the following: cherries, currants, apple blossoms, violets, forget-me-knots, and roses. They are bright and vibrant and very well painted. What a lovely set to use to serve your holiday desserts! They go just lovely with a rose cake plate that i currently have up for auction too (see last picture). It is quite rare to find such a collection in this condition. The plates measures 7.5" wide. They all are in perfect condition- no chips, cracks or restorations. They are marked Haviland France dating it to 1894 ( according to Mary Gaston'e Encyclopedia of Limoges, Third Edition ).
