This set of six antique Imari / Oriental patterned ironstone pieces includes a platter, 2 plates and 3 soup plates. All six pieces are marked "Stone China" with a "crown" inside an octagon. The mark and the style are very similar to Mason's Ironstone, however, I believe these plates were made by "Hicks & Meigh" about 1830. The body of these piece is more like early 19th century "pearlware" than like the later 19th century ironstone. All six pieces are in a fine state of preservation with NO chips or cracks. The pieces include a platter that measures approx. 10" x 13", a 9 1/2" plate, a 8 1/2" plate and three 8 1/2" bowls. All are in extremely good condition! Buyer pays shipping & insurance.
