Up for auction is this Authentic Pullman Palace Car Co. 6" pitcher. It was used for Syrup? - Hot Water? - Tea? - Coffee? you be the judge. I received this as a gift from a dear friend who worked for the Historic Pullman District in Chicago. This was part of the original town of Pullman . . a company town of the Pullman Railroad Car Co. When he was touring the closed buildings w the original Pullman Palace Cars were built - they discovered an old stockroom w a bunch of junk was discarded and a box of 12 of these lovely pitchers was discovered - brand new in the straw and wooden box they were shipped in. A real railroad find . . . VERY RARE INDEED> The bottom is embossed with the Name Hall and the is a circle with the name hall imprinted on it and Made in USA
