1/6 plate tintype of a soldier seated, wearing a 4 button sack coat with blue tinted 1st sgt chevrons and lozenge and a military vest. The soldier is seated in front of stark, white backdrop that is likely a canvas tent wall. The image comes in a full leatherette case that has been repaired at the spine. The image is bright and clear with some small surface spots and a dimple on the soldier's stomach.Please see my "other items" for some additional images of civil war soldiers that I'm selling this week.
