6 Sterling 1916 English Mappin & Webb Demitasse Spoons Presented is a set of 6 sterling silver demitasse spoons from England. The handles are in a simple, oval, threaded pattern. All of the spoons are marked with the crown for the city of Sheffield, the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter y for 1916 and a maker's mark M & W for Mappin and Webb. One of the spoons has some tiny, deep scratches at the top of the handle, see photo. These could be polished/ buffed out if so desired. The overall condition of this set is great. T are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no repairs and no other problems of any kind. Each spoon measures 4 1/4 inches long.
