Bobobie's "Rachel" Only a year old, this Rachel by Bobobie has only seen the inside of my non-smoking & pet free studio. She is a typical Bobobie: needs work fresh out of the box! Apparently the Bobobie Co. insists upon sending its dolls out with very loose stringing - compelling each new owner to despair or learn restringing techniques quickly! It took a while - time that my Rachel spent in her sleeping bag - for me to get up the guts to mess about inside her head (etc), but with a little help from the shop she came from, I've finally gotten her restrung. I'm not bragging about the job I did - sometimes I'm not convinced she's any tighter than she was; however, the possibility of her standing alone is no longer quite so remote. While I was at it, I touched up her face-up, adding eyelashes & a little more color to her face. (She's been sprayed w/MSC matte, & is much less sallow & buggy-eyed than when she arrived.) She will come to you in her sleeping bag, inside her shipper, inside another sturdy box. (She's not delicate in weight - and because the shippers are so long, she'll have to go via Parcel Post.) I am including the outfit you see her in - one of my hand-mades that was sewn just to fit her slightly buxom frame. She is wearing a relatively new pair of "Gothic Mary Janes" on her feet, and a Monique size 7-8 wig. She's by read more
