You are bidding on a 1963 Slingerland vintage snare drum. The drum is in great shape. The chrome does have some little rust, but I can't see any pitting. I believe the color is called white marine pearl. The pictures do show it being brighter than it really is, but again, it is great shape and has been in a smoke free house a while now. The snare resembles the Gene Krupa snare made the same year but has reinforcement rings and is not painted on the inside. The bearing edges are still in good condition and the heads are in nice shape. T is a no name head on the snare side, and a Fiberskyn batter head. The snares appear to be orginal. This snare plays as well as it looks and has an amazing sound. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Note: If international shipping, t will be additional charges.
