Listed for auction is a vintage 1969 or 70 Schwinn Sting-Ray bike in good condition. It is the coaster model with a CF serial number that I have seen dates it from 1969 to 1970 depending on which website I look up. The number is on the crank in the back rather than the neck and one site I saw said that Schwinn stopped doing that in 1970. Schwinn Sting-Rays were the first bikes to convert to the BMX style in the early 1970's and this one seems to have done that with the motocross handlebars and removing the fenders. It will need new tires and tubes and I saw one missing spoke in the back but it is still a great bike with the original Bendix coaster brake and pedals as is the paint and seat. The only thing that looks non-original are the handle bars. This is the full size Sting-Ray and not the mini version. If you are looking for an original vintage late 60's early 70's Schwinn Sting-Ray to add to your collection or want to fix one up here is a great opportunity.
