Up for your consideration is gorgeous 6th.Duke of Connaught's Own Rifles officer's silvered cross belt plate and matching pouch badge,both of which came together on a period black leather cross belt.The pouch badge is quite scarce,this being the only original one that I have ever come across.They were not only fitted to the pouch,but in many photographs that I have the were also used as cap badges on the peaked caps!This badge measures 48mm wide by 52mm high,was the standard collar measures 38mm wide by 36mm high.I have included a comparison photo,but the black collar is not included in this listing.
