A nice 1/6th plate Daguerreotype of a seated young lady with her arm on a book. This daguerreotype is a photo of another daguerreotype. The image has been resealed. There are a number of very small plate imperfections and some tarnish around the mat. The image is housed in a full leather case. This image is from an old collection.
