7 Great English 1805 Sterling Demitasse/Coffee Spoons Presented is a set of 7 beautiful, sterling silver demitasse or coffee spoons from England. Each handle is decorated with lovely, intricate bright cut designs. Three of the spoons have a monogram of the initials TL at the top. This is obviously an assembled set. The lengths are different and the makers and dates are not same, but they match well and worked as a set. The back of the three monogrammed spoons are marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter G for the year 1802, a duty mark of King George III's head and a maker's mark SA believed to be for Stephen Adams. Two of the spoons are marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter k for the year 1805, a duty mark of King George III's head and a worn maker's mark. Two of the spoons have hallmarks that are too worn to make out, but are identical to the proceeding two spoons and are almost certainly the same maker and date.. This set is in great overall condition and the designs are crisp. T is a tiny ding to one of the bowls, but t are no other dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms no monogram removals, no repairs and no problems of any kind. 4 spoons measures 5 inches long, 3 spoons measures 4 3/4 inches long.
