Fabulous vintage quilt! Shown on a twin size mattress but is big enough to also fit nicely on a full size bed. Measures 70 inches wide by 83 inches long. This quilt features a tulip pattern. There are 42 total blocks each with a tulip which has been machine stitched with a zig-zag stitch. There are 6 blocks across by 7 blocks down. Each block is approx 12"x 12". The blocks and the quilting have all been meticulously hand stitched. I can't imagine how long it must have taken to quilt this piece. The tulips are in either a solid red, solid white or a tiny floral print. The backgrounds are the same (red, white and floral) The floral print could perhaps be made from vintage flour sacks. There are no stains whatsoever. No odors or rips, holes, etc. Only a couple of the tulips which have a bit of the zigzag stitching coming loose. Easily re-stitched if desired. It has had very little use, just for show on a guest bed and periodic washings. Perfect for a garden or cottage guestroom bed! You will love this quilt, guaranteed!
