Up for bid is this pretty yellow rose & bud with green trim mixing bowl. This bowl is approx: 7 1/2" diameter x 4" high, made by the Cronin China Company in the 1930's-1940's.The kitchenware is called "Bake Oven". The top of the bowl has a green trim and ribbing along the sides along with this yellow rose & bud with green leaves on a cream color background. This bowl is in great condition for its age, no chips or cracks, no crazing. The bottom has and incised "BAKE OVEN" in a rectangle with gold numbers 6 42. Light edge ware on the bottom rim. Cronin China was in operation in Minewa, Ohio from 1934-1956, when it discontinued dinnerware and manufactured ceramic floor tiles. This is a very rare find. Buy now!! I have looked up this pattern in Replacements, Inc, and it is CO161 [COICOI61] and is also stated it is a discontinued item.
