75 VIRGIN ISLAND LEGAL TENDER $20 FACE VALUE COINS Here are three complete solid sterling silver sets of "Treasure Coins of the Carribean" originally issued by the Franklin Mint in the 1980's under auspices of the British Virgin Islands. These were intended to be collected and so, of course, are brilliant and uncirculated. They are legal tender in the British V.I. and can be redeemed for cash there (if so desired) for US $1500 since the B.V.I. dollar trades at parity with the US dollar. Every coin has a different image on the reverse from the period commemorating the era of pirate hordes of bullion as well as a front profile of the reigning monarch of this time, Elizabeth II. The face value denomination of the coin is $20 and the average weight of each is 19 grams, which is pure solid sterling silver. The total weight in sterling of all coins is 1425 grams or over 45 troy ounces of solid sterling silver. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Current silver content value alone is OVER $1500 at today's spot silver price. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
