This quartz cluster was found near Mount Ida Arkansas. Mount Ida is the quartz crystal capital of the world. I have mined and collected quartz crystals for over 20 years. I live in Mount Ida and have super contacts in the quartz crystal area. This allows me to pass along super deals on all my beautiful quartz crystals. I will be adding items to e-bay as I go along. The cluster has been irradiated and this causes it to have the smokey color. The cluster has been smoked basically in the same manner that natural smokies get t smokey color. The process is just sped up and it also causes them to achieve a darker smoke color. The Quartz Crystal itself is 100% Natural Arkansas quartz crystal. This very Large Arkansas Quartz Crystal Cluster weighs 7lbs-8ozs. This cluster is a 100% Arkansas Quartz Crystal Cluster. The Cluster has been put through a process that causes the color inside the crystal to turn dark. The process is called Irradiated. The points on this cluster have a beautiful very dark color quality. The main point on the cluster measures 7.50 inches long. The 2nd longest point on the cluster measures 7 inches long. The cluster is very solid with a flat base. The cluster measures 5.50 inches X 3.50 inches at the base. While sitting on its base the cluster will stand 6 inches tall. The cluster is in great condition with only very small and old flaws. What a specimen and what a beautiful decorative piece. These clusters are one of my favorite. This one would make an excellant gift for a Crystal collector. Each person in this world is a very unique individual. No 2 people will look at any item the same way. Personally these Irradiated Arkansas quartz clusters are one of my favorites and I think them very beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
