These 7mm Mauser fired casings were all found while metal detecting in and around Columbus, New Mexico-the site of Pancho Villa's raid in March of 1916. Although I can't be 100% sure, these could have been fired by Pancho Villa's bandits during the raid. Most of them were supposedly armed with Mauser rifles. I've only found 10 or 15 of these around Columbus in 40 years of detecting. Check my other auctions for more 1850's, Civil War and Indian Wars relics. Always glad to combine shipping if you win multiple auctions. !
