Betsy McCall “Memories” Wedding outfit By Robert Tonner Offered to you is an outstanding wedding outfit consisting of 7 pieces and created by Robert Tonner. The doll is not included. It consists of a wonderful soft satin and lace dress beautifully made, a long taffeta under slip with snaps at her waste that is ankle length and tagged Tonner 1999. She has silk slip on shoes. T is a bouquet and pearl necklace as well as the hang tag. Included in all this is a veil that was originally attached to Betsy’s head and when removed sustained a couple tiny holes that could easily be hidden with a bobby pin or enclosed bow. The original hang tag says “ Betsy McCall Collector doll “ Memories” Limited edition for Shirley’s Dollhouse 25th Anniversary is included. This was an exclusive limited edition. Not all pieces are tagged but all came as one costume from Robert Tonner Doll Co. . The original Betsy was introduced as a doll in 1952 and had a similar wedding dress.. This outfit has never been played with and is very clean and in very good condition. A little ironing may be needed due to being stored.This is an outstanding outfit. panties are not included.
