8 Fine Antique Meissen Dinner Plates__ estate #45...Just bought several items from a local Hyde Park collector from Germany whose collection of porcelain, rugs, paintings , dolls and stain glass were all antique and all for sale at a very reasonable price. I will try to list some of these items over the next week, so stay tuned. All will be sold in auction format and sold as described to the best of out collective knowledge. Please ask questions before you bid. If you don't understand what auction format means: don't bid. 8 Fine Antique Meissen Dinner Plates__ estate #45 These 8 antique Meissen plates are just fabulous. The floral decoration is all hand painted, and the insects and butterflies are just charming. All 8 plates have the blue underglaze Meissen crossed swords located on the back. T are no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Three of the plates do have some minor restoration to the rim edge of the plate (Please see Photo's). Seven of the antique Meissen plates measures approximately 9.5'' in diameter, and are about 1.25'' deep. One of the plates measures about 9.75'' in diameter, and approximately 1 1/8'' deep.
