Up for auction is a great piece of J B Owens pottery done in their very desireable Lotus glaze. This piece stands 8" tall and is 6 1/2" across at the shoulders. The bottom is marked "OWENS 1258." It is signed by the artist on the side of the vase and the artist i can come up with is an abbreviated Hester Pillsbury signature. T is a less than a inch hairline that extends from the top of the vase by the green stem and extends downward, it blends in quite nicely with the crazing. No chips or repairs.
