Spode Camilla Pink has a lovely, underglaze pink design with intricate border and central spray. First introduced in 1833, Camilla is named after the tea plant, Camilla Sinensis. Similar plates are on the Spode web site at /product/?navid=0&level=5&id=2126&pgid= .You are bidding on a lot of eight salad plates. These plates do not have fluted (scalloped) edges. (Some pieces in the pattern do). They are marked with both manuafacturer's and dealer's marks under the glaze on the bottom. The plates measure around 8½ inches in diameter. Although used, they have no chips and show minimal, if any, sign of use.
