This is a beautiful set of china made by Castleton in the Empire pattern. I am selling 8 double-handled cream soups with underplates, 10 cups and saucers, 12 demitasse cups and saucers, 8 salad plates (measuring 8" across), and 12 bread plates (measuring 6 1/2"). The pieces are in what I would call mint condition, no chips, cracks, crazing, fleabites, stains, etc... If you look really closely in the light, you will see some light knife marks on most of the salad plates and a few of the bread plates, but these are not noticeable unless you hold the plates up and turn them in the light. Otherwise t are no flaws to mention except that the set could use a good washing! The colors are bold. Whether you are looking to complete your set or purchase a complete tea/breakfast set, these pieces are wonderful! I cannot estimate shipping because I do not have the pieces packed up yet. However, I anticipate that the pieces will require 2 large boxes (each double-boxed). I do not make a profit on shipping, and I will make sure we find the cheapest method possible (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) - I will give you quotes for all 3 methods as soon as the auction is over.
