This is an award given to a Colonel in the 82nd Airborne. The standing award is 14/3/4" tall, 11" wide and 6" depth. the paratrooper figure is 7/1/2" tall and award weighs 8 lbs. At the top is a Colonel's eagle insignia, on the left side is an 82nd airborne pin and on the right is a set of Master paratrooper wings. In the center is a Combat Infantry badge with 5 rows of ribbons (Silver star, Legion of merit (olc), Bronze star (olc), Purple heart, American Defense ribbon, American campaign ribbon, WW2 european service ribbon with 4 stars, WW2 victory ribbon,WW2 occupation ribbon, Korean service ribbon, UN service ribbon and a Korean war service ribbon). On the left below the ribbons is a general staff pin and on the right is an infantry cross rifles insignia, below that is a pair of 82nd airborne wings and a master parachutist badge. The award is a unique piece of 82nd airborne memorabilia.
