This is a full and complete, gorgeous sterling silver tea and coffee set. All pieces carry a sinuous channeled design, hand grooved in a very organic pattern calling to mind exotic pear-shaped pumpkins. Spouts are intricately folded and grooved as if made of fabric, not metal. Small white ceramic discs act as insulators between handle and body of coffee- and teapots. Lids are intricately channeled as well. The feet resemble lionsÂ' with cornucopia like shields of wheat sheaths and exotic leaves swooping up to support the rotund bases. Truly an exquisite set, I cannot imagine that t is another like it outside of a museum. Included in the set: Water Kettle Â- Holds 64 ounces. Stands 10Â" to top of lid, 13Â" to top of handle, 10Â" wide. Lid hinges to the side and works well. I found one small ding and a couple small scratches, overall in excellent condition. The round base with a 4 1⁄2Â" diameter sits into theÂ.... Heating Stand with pin to attach Kettle and Burner . Stand is 4 1⁄2Â" tall with a diameter of 7Â". Pin is 2 1⁄2Â" long and can fasten the Kettle on either end. The stand holds a small wicked burner that uses fuel to keep the water warm. The handle on the burner has the same detail as the pin. I found no dents or remarkable scratches on any of these pieces. The hinge on the burner is a bit loose but works well. Coffee Pot Â- Holds 44 ounces. Stands 10Â" tall and is 10Â" wide, spout to handle. The pot wobbles standing on a flat surface but surely could be leveled. T is a Â"4Â" stamped on the hinge, which works well. This piece is in excellent condition with no notable dents and a couple very small scratches. Tea Pot Â- Holds 44 ounces. Stands 9Â" tall and is 10Â" wide, spout to handle. This pot also wobbles on a flat surface. T is a Â"2Â" stamped on the hinge, which works well. The handle on this teapot wobbles after the ceramic discs, but the pins that hold the handle to the body appear to be fine and I donÂ't think one would worry about the pieces falling apart. Overall condition is excellent with no notable dents or scratches. Slop Bowl Â- This open topped container stands 3Â" tall with an opening diameter of 3 3⁄4Â". Excellent condition. Creamer Â- This wide lipped creamer holds 12 ounces and stands 5Â" tall and is 6Â" spout to handle. This piece also wobbles on a flat surface. One small scratch (1/16Â") in small ding on side. Otherwise, excellent condition. Sugar with Lid Â- Stands 6Â" to top of lid with a 2 3⁄4Â" opening diameter and measures 6Â" ear to ear. Does not wobble! I found one minute ding, otherwise in excellent condition. Tray Â- This massive piece measures overall 29Â" (handle to handle) by 17 1⁄4Â". It stands 1 1⁄4Â" tall. This tray has numerous surface scratches through use. I donÂ't know how to measure depth of the scratches, but IÂ'm not sure they are even measurable! Very few can be felt with my fingernail and then only lightly. Truly beautiful. In fact, in photos, items are sitting on the tray, not on a mirror! The bottom of each hollow ware piece is marked Â"STERLING 925 Industria Peruana.Â" T is a hallmark under the 925 that I cannot identify. Please look at pictures. The bottom of the tray is marked Â"STERLING 925 CAMUSSO MADE IN PERU.Â" Only the burner has no markings. Silver saver bags will be included for each piece. The pieces are not monogrammed and all have recently been polished. I have calculated the total weight on my digital postal scale at 201.8 ounces, in troy ounces at 184.04. This is a beautiful set, obviously lovingly cared for. The owner lived and worked in the Canal Zone of Panama and traveled extensively in South America .
