Check out my other items ! This auction is for 9 brass bells attached to an old weatd 23" leather strap. My research, using Google and following many links, as well as the Estate of origin, link these bells to approximately the end of the AMERICAN FUR TRADE ERA (1850). Bells such as these were not made by American Natives but were used to trade to Europeans along with animal furs needed for clothing and hats for guns as well as other items. These brass bells have corrosion and the leather strap is dry and cracked, I would suppose the winner would possibly wish to retain the Antique Patina. The tone of the bells is beautiful . Please email me for additional pictures or information needed prior to bidding. Thank you for viewing our auction---Happy Bidding.
