9ct Gold Victorian Art Nouveau Pendant Brooch with Split Pearls and Amethyst Search A lovely 9 carat gold pendant brooch with sinuous Art Nouveau curves and set with 4 split pearls and one large deep purple amethyst. The piece is 1 1/2 inches long including the polished bale. There is a 9 carat gold c clasp and pin to the reverse, and the bale folds down so that it is out of site when the pendant is worn as a brooch. The reverse is marked ' 9ct'. The amethyst is double claw set and measures 5/16 inch wide. The piece is in good order.
