SANDS of TIME 3003 P St NW, Washington DC 20007Phone: Fax: A SASSANIAN CARNELIAN SEAL RING ca 2nd Century AD Description: a fine carnelian dome seal of ellipsoidal form, the base deeply incised with the profile of a bird facing left surrounded by 5 tiny notches; the seal has been pierced for suspension/attachment and set within a modern 14K gold ring. Condition: The seal is intact and in very good condition overall with some very minor losses to the base edge use to ancient usage that does not detract.
