Item will be double-boxed to ensure it arrives safely. Austin production sculpture "Black Tie" from the "High Fashion" category. This is a Durastone sculpture in what is commonly referred to as blue bronze with a matte black finishing effect over the entire piece. The metallic walking staff is painted silver. Commonly this walking staff is missing from sculptures or the bases have been refurbished making this a very rare sculpture indeed. This piece is in very good condition because of one imperfection that has been filled in and not visible along with dust in the crevices from display. There are various marks on the matte finish which are not easily photographed and occur on these finishes over time. It is a large piece measuring 18.5 inches by 5 1/4 inches including the base. Artist signed "DANEL" Alexsander "Austin Productions 1991" very rare and hard to find as Austin Productions supply is on the secondary market only as Austin Productions no longer makes sculptures. "High fashion and couture designs were the essences of the Austin fashion collection. The styles are simplistic with strong lines and dramatic accents. The monochromatic fashion statement is in matte black -for a look of sophistication and elegance."
