Description: Zhang Wo, Shuhou by style name, Zhen Qisheng and Jiang Haike by sobriquets, a native of Hangzhou, ZheJiang province, was a painter of the Yuan dynasty. He was versatile, especially in painting human figures, following Li Gonglin, in a fluent and pure style. His painting brush often brings forth new ideas. His heavy strokes and broad-brush approaches enabled him to develop a new style for the idea-sketch type of painting. This item was painted on rice paper.
