This is one of the legendary AA Alfred Arnold TangoBandoneons, with zinc reed plates and I believe (from the scribbles on the plates) 1919, but I cant swear to that. Since the AA brand stopped in 1949, it must be pre war. The advertisements said “the only instruments for the perfection of Argentinian Tango”. This one is in good nick for its age; there is some of the white plastic edge trim missing.. The bellows are tight and the notes powerful and it’s green, the photos suggest a more yellow colour but that’s wrong. Standard tango bandoneon layout 33 bass and 37 treble right hand 142 notes. But it is as I got it, and some reeds may need some slight tuning. I am not a bandoneon player, but managed a tune on it here: http://youtu.be/Q1JSOz-G5Kw Its labeled also Maz Scheffler, Chemnitz, Concertina. With original case.An auction! Good luck.
