This ribbon bar is perfect for a World War II GI, Airman or Paratrooper who served overseas in the Pacific in action. Here you have a Wolf Brown marked, World War II GI or AAF two-ribbon bar featuring the Pacific Theater with two battle stars and Philippines Liberation with one battle star. The ribbon bar is in mint condition. The ribbon bar is plastic coated, the hall mark of Wolf Brown Ribbons. The ribbons are marked Wolf Brown, Los Angeles, on the reverse. The ribbons are mounted on a clutch back ribbon bar with the early wire wartime locking caps. The colors are vibrant and the ribbons are in near to mint condition. The ribbon bar measures .375 by 2.75 inches. The Pacific Theater was issued for service in Hawaii, Australia, the Southern, Western and Northern Pacific, and the Alaskan Aleutian Islands Chain. The Philippines Liberation Ribbon was for participating in General MacArthur’s return to take back the Philippines. Valor and combat ribbons such as the Silver and Bronze Stars and Distinguished Service Cross, Air Medal and Flying Cross Ribbons along with the Purple Heart would precede these ribbons when worn on a tunic or Ike Jacket.
