Abe Rich made his Florida cues from scratch and hand turned all of his cues. He did not use any automated machinery for making his cues; he was the last "old school" cuemaker. Abe Started his own business in Miami in 1965 and called the company Florida Cue until 1971. That year, he moved his company to Miami Beach and changed its name to Star Cue. His cues are coveted by collectors and players worldwide, Willie Mosconi, Minnesota Fats and Jackie Gleason had all owned his cues. Abe Rich made such great cues that he was inducted into "The International Cue Makers Hall of Fame". Abe Rich passed away in November of 2008 at the age of 83, and this cue comes from his shop.
