I have another of these buttons in a very similar condition. A detailed figural picture button in Art Nouveau style by the Parisian designer and medallist Armand Bargas circa 1900. It depicts 'Eau' or water and is one of the series of buttons that illustrate the 'Four Elements'.The image is of a young woman in profile to the left side with waves surrounding her. T is seaweed in her flowing hair and the word 'Eau' towards the bottom. On the right side is an engraved monogram A.B for Armand Bargas. It measures 13/16 ins approximately in diameter and it has a round loop shank on the reverse.The condition is good, the metalwork is clean with a patina giving good definition. Shipping costs $8:00 this includes full insurance. Buyers from the U.K shipping costs £4:00 including insurance. I can of course combine shipping costs for multiple purchases.
