RARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING EDWARDIAN COURT JESTER SOLID SILVER & MOTHER of PEARL BABY'S RATTLE / TEETHER Vale & St John Ltd Birmingham 1920 This is a Rare Edwardian Court Jester Solid Silver & Mother of Pearl Baby's Rattle / Teether crafted by the highly sought after Edwardian silversmiths Vale & St John Ltd, take a look at the photos, he is just so detailed with the most cheeky face, he has chubby cheeks , lovely eyes and with a smile on his face, he is wearing a 3 pointed jester hat, from his shoulders he has his bells which still rattle and make a lovely sound, this has a mother of pearl handle thats also in lovely condition, its hard to believe this is 93 years old, its in lovely condition and has been cherished and its fully hallmarked , my words dont do this justice, i have seen many rattle but this jester is so very detailed , he is lovely Maker........... Vale & St John Ltd Assay Office.......Birmingham Date...........1920 making this 93 years old Measurements...... 9.5 cm height... Condition..............The only thing to mention is one bells has a little ding to the underneath,and the loop to the top has gone, the lines down the side are the natural join lines these are NOT splits, that being said it doesnt detract at all from its rare beauty, just mentioned for accuracy This will add something very special to any collection, read more
