Hello! Welcome to my auction for an: Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5000D Champagne Gold D This item is a collectors dream and has been owned by myself for many years. Due to the collectibility of this reel I never mounted it, and never used it. At the foot of the reel the serial number is 741100. The chrome is still in immaculate shape, the reel itself functions beautifully. It has a couple small barely noticeable scratches which you can see in the pictures, other then that this reel looks almost as good today as it did back in 1974. I myself purchased this reel from another collector about 15 years ago, and to my knowledge he was the original owner and did not mount it either. Personally I believe whoever wins this reel, will indeed have the best looking 5000 D gold I've come across. Now the one thing I do not have for this reel is the box it came in or the paperwork with it. I wish you all good luck and happy bidding.
