First, please understand that I know very little about vintage erector sets. I've done just enough research to be totally confused. Anyone reading this is sure to know more than I do about it. There is no model number listed anywhere that I can find. I may also be totally wrong about the years of manufacture. It's a blue box, measuring 24" x 14" x 4". Total weight of the set is just under 40 pounds. There is rust on the box and one of the 3 hinges is broken. The other 2 hinges and latches work properly. From what research I have done, I'm sure there are lots of missing parts. There are still some gears and parts attached to the lid. Two wrenches and a screwdriver are included. What I believe to be the original bell is included. There are 2 motors (or one motor and one transformer?). The motor with the electrical cord worked when I plugged it in, and it reverses and runs in both directions. There are four metal containers with metal lids that are full of nuts, bolts, and small parts. Overall condition of the parts appears to be very good.
