Academy 1/35th scale modern AFV kit, catalogue number 13213. Lovely kit of the latest “big turret” evolution of uniquely-Israeli Merkava MBT, as mean and menacing a tank as you’ll ever see, designed to be as crew-survivable as possible from lessons learned during the tank battles of 1967 and 1973. Academy’s kit is an absolute beauty, with clean moulding and crisp detail, and a fret of PE detail parts for various mesh bits and the unique “ball and chain” anti-RPG system on the turret rear. Roadwheels some with separate (injected polystyrene) parts for the rubber bits, which will make painting the roadwheels an unaccustomed joy. Tracks are superbly done, very crisp link-and-length mouldings. The kit is in excellent condition, with all the sprues still sealed in the manufacturer's bags. Kit is complete and intact, unmade, with decals and instructions as new.I have a few other kits listed just now - please feel free to have a look, and save some postage on any combined wins.
