ACME Imperial by Frank Lloyd Wright Rollerball Pen PW02R Born in Wisconsin, USA, in 1867, Frank Lloyd Wright grew up to be America’s greatest and most innovative architect. His legacy is one of America’s foremost cultural treasures. In 1940, he established The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to protect, preserve and administer his life’s work. In 1991, Architectural Record magazine published a list of the 100 most significant buildings in the world - 11 were by Frank Lloyd Wright.Designed by ACME Studios, the pen commemorates the largest commission of Wright's career, the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. Wright designed everything from the building, its furniture and the Noritake china. The pen incorporates the art deco design that can be found on the china. Design features Frank Lloyd Wright's signature stamped on the cap band Screen-printed Imperial design on cap and barrel Hand applied lacquer finish over brass cap and barrel Chrome plated appointments ACME logo on clip Snap on cap Uses smooth writing Schmidt type rollerball and modified P900 ballpoint cartridges.
