Acoma Pueblo Native American Indian Pottery Old 1875 Design Olla By Adrian Vallo This newly created handcoiled small olla is made from Acoma clay by Acoma artist Adrian Vallo. Adrian is well known for his innovative designs and beautiful thin walled pottery . He takes great pride in researching Acoma designs dating back to the 19th century. This pot replicates a design from 1875. Adrian uses natural pigments in his slips and clays and his pots can be found in collections across the country. This polychrome (2 or more colors) thin walled olla measures 4.4" tall, 5.3" diameter with an 16.7" circumference. It is signed on the bottom by the artist, "A. Vallo, "1875", Acoma."
