For your consideration we have this Acoma Pueblo Polychrome pot by E & M Sarracino. It is marked on the bottom as being from "Acoma 'Sky City' NM" It is very nicely decorated with a 4" scalloped opening. The jar is 10 " tall and 7" in diameter and weighs a little less than 3lbs. Please look carefully at the photos as they are the best description of the item.These pots were hand-coiled, with hand-mixed clay and custom slip."The pottery of Acoma is strongly recognized for fluted rims, thin walls and geometric design. Potters of the pueblo implement similar techniques found in the local region, from collecting of the clay material from limited sources, forming the vessel for specific use, decorating with patterns and design by hand, to firing the pot at high temperature." – Sky City Cultural Center
