In 2007 she was chosen as NHRAs rookie of the year. On April 27, 2008 Ashley became the first women to ever win an NHRA Funny Car title. She defeated her father, John Force, in the final round of the 28th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals. This is a replica of the Funny Car that Ashley piloted in 2008.
