These are actual photos taken by my granpa from VIETNAM and THE KOREAN WAR. He wrote on the back of some,he put names with arrows pointing to some of the guys in several of the pictures and he wrote at the bottom of some of them to tell my gramma what they were. So t are history lessons with real names and real people that come with these pictures. Im letting these 43 pictures go only because we have so so many more. The date is printed on the edge of some of the pictures. I suppose that was done when they were developed. These photos are so amazing. Everytime you look them over you can see something that you missed the first time. Several have OCT 66 on the edge. My papa wrote the names of a few guys that were swimming in what looks like a creek that he called a river. One guy is actually in the process of diving in the photo. He wrote on the bottom of another one,"tower guarding bridge and town" and an arrow pointing to the truck mirror with "me" written on it. You can see him and his camera in the mirror. One has two little Vietnamese boys,each holding a puppy and standing with our marines or some sort of bridge. The names of the guys are written on top of the picture.
