Adams Royal Ivory (Titian Ware) - SIX 6" Bread & Butter Plates - Extremely RARE! by Adams China, England Manufacturer Status: Discontinued, ca. 1921-1929 Pattern: Della Monte-Cream/ Patt# ADA102 (Titian Ware) by Adams China Description: Titianware, Cream, Embossed Cherubs, Red Bands & Vine, Geometric Motif This is a gorgeous set of SIX approx . 6" Diameter Bread & Butter Plates, dating to the 1920s. The pattern features hand painted red bands and vines, central geometric motif with berries and fruit, with cherubs and garlands in relief , on a cream, or ivory base. Unusual "marriage" of two different Adams patterns, possibly unique. These may have been an experimental pattern or a special order. Very Rare!! Marked : Adams England Royal Ivory Stamp, Titian Ware, Hand Painted, RD. 749349/52, Patent 79593 Superb vintage condition with no chips, hairlines, utensil marks or cracks - some very light crazing on bottoms commensurate with age....plates look to have been used very little, if at all. Plates have a Diameter of 6-1/8" in. x 3/4" in. Depth. Extremely difficult to find Bread & Butter Plates in this pattern and they will look fabulous on a vintage table.
