Up for auction is an Adena Tablet that is made out of Granite. It measures 6" long by 4" wide by 1-1/4" thick. This relic is from the Famous Kema Indian Museum of Mt. Pocono, PA. The Kema Indian Museum was the largest Private Collection of American Indian Artifacts in the World. Their collection included many pieces of Primitive Art, Weapons and Tools made of Stone, Wood and Bone. Over 25,000 Items. There were major Indian Cultures represented throughout the Museum including: Eastern Woodland, Plains, Pueblo and the rarest Northwest Coast Collection. It also housed the Dr. S.C. Mazepa Collection. This Museum went out of business in 1978. Most of the artifacts, weapons, etc. have been in storage until most recently when all of it sold at Public Auction in New Jersey. We were proud to purchase a large part of the Museum at Auction. We will be selling it on e-bay over the next several months.
